Since its opening in November of 1996, The Pasta Bowl has served as a neighborhood institution in Lincoln Park. The owners were struck by inspiration one summer while vacationing in San Francisco. The concept was simple: serve great pasta at an affordable price. Over a decade later, the dream lives on at Clark and Fullerton and it shows no signs of quitting.

One of the key elements to the Pasta Bowl experience is watching our chefs prepare your meal right in front of you. If you’ve never had a seat at our counter, you’re missing quite a show. The precision and speed with which our crew crafts your lunch or dinner is nearly as impressive as the end result.

After your meal, be sure to stop in next door at The Other Side Bar for a drink. Just as snug and cozy as the restaurant, The Other Side’s fun neighborhood atmosphere, and great specials draw quite a crowd. With the recent addition (2004) of the bar, 2434 N. Clark now caters to all the essentials for a great night out with a group of friends or a special someone.
